Millumin : MIDI support

Hello there,

These last two weeks, I didn’t post an update (big or small). But I’m coming back !
This new update brings :

  • MIDI support
  • better support for MPEG files
  • small interface improvements
  • bugfixes

Thanx for the feedback and all the ideas you provided so far. Now, it’s time for me to stand back, and figure out what I’ll work on during the next months …
I’m sure surprising things’ll pop out !

Millumin : multi-selection, copy & paste and more …

Hello there,

This week, I release a medium update. No big feature but many small ones :

  • select multiple layers
  • copy & paste (layer, timeline item, keyframes)
  • keyboard shortbuts
  • new blend modes (hue / saturation / color / luminosity
  • keystone (multiscreen setup)
  • a “pause” button

As usual, I fixed a few bugs. After releasing my next big feature, the MIDI support, I’ll start fix them all !

Millumin : blend mode and multi-screen

Hello there,

Here is a new update : blend modes like in Photoshop (multiply, screen, add, overlay, …) and multi-screen/soft-edge. I tested it on my Matrox TripleHead and it works well :)
Please let me know what you think of all this, so I could go further !

As usual, to update, just run Millumin and check for updates :)

Now, let’s finish the MIDI support !

Update : the timeline (and some other things)

Hello there,

Today, I released an important update for Millumin. Please open Millumin and check for updates :

In this new version, you got the timeline, and big performance improvements (especially in fullscreen and when loading files). Of course I fixed bugs and changed a bit the interface as well.
Thanx to all of those reported me bug : keep doing so !

Now I’ very busy with the multi-ouput/soft-edge feature. More news soon !

Small update : rearrange layers !

Hello there,

Today, I released a small update for Millumin. Please open Millumin and check for updates :

In this new version, you can now rearrange the layers, and if it crashes, you’ll be able to send me a report in one-click. The rest is minor bug fixes and UI improvements.
Thanx to all of those reported me bug : I’m working on them !

Right now, I’m very focused on finishing the timeline.
Then I’ll carry on the multi-ouput/soft-edge feature :)

The beta is out !

Hello there.

A small post to let you know that the beat of Millumin is out (if you subscribe to the beta, you should have receive an email).

Keep in mind it’s an early beta, that doesn’t reflect the final product.
Expect minor updates every week. A major every month.

I just received a gift : this VMX v64

LeCollagiste kindly sent me a Codanova VMX v64.
This is a nice MIDI controller with big lines of luminescent buttons, many knobs, sliders and a jog. Expect Millumin to work with it :)
