Millumin : 64 bits optimized for Mountain Lion

I’m very excited today as I’m releasing an important update : 64 bits support that I’ve been working on since summer 2012 ! And it brings great optimizations for Moutain Lion, especially with large movies (fps up to 3 times better). Example :

Millumin is launched + update + workshop
Hello,
10 days ago, I launched Millumin during a party in Paris. It was very great, and really enjoyed talking with some of you. Thank you very much !

Millumin : mask & fill layer
Hello, Working hard. Really hard. But I’m so proud to present you the mask tool. But there is another great new type of layer : the “fill” layer, that you can use with a solid color or a gradient.

Tutorials and more OSC
Hello there,
I wrote a couple of tutorials that you can read in Millumin’s lab.
I also extended the OSC support. You can now map with your iPhone or your iPad via TouchOSC. Have a look to this short video :
In the end, I created Monomal, an experimental app to plug your Monome with Millumin.
This week, I planned to work on improving stability. So now, time to chase bugs !

Millumin : blend mode and multi-screen
Hello there,
Here is a new update : blend modes like in Photoshop (multiply, screen, add, overlay, …) and multi-screen/soft-edge. I tested it on my Matrox TripleHead and it works well :) Please let me know what you think of all this, so I could go further !
As usual, to update, just run Millumin and check for updates :)

In this new version, you got the timeline, and big performance improvements (especially in fullscreen and when loading files). Of course I fixed bugs and changed a bit the interface as well. Thanx to all of those reported me bug : keep doing so !

I just received a gift : this VMX v64
LeCollagiste kindly sent me a Codanova VMX v64. This is a nice MIDI controller with big lines of luminescent buttons, many knobs, sliders and a jog. Expect Millumin to work with it :)

MadMapper is out !
MadMapper, the video mapping software, just went out. I mean right now ! I had a try, and I can say that it’s pretty easy to use (despite I think the ergonomics could be improved a bit). It took me 5 minutes to dive in it, and the blue-and-gray interface is pleasant :
