Tutorials and more OSC

Hello there,
I wrote a couple of tutorials that you can read in Millumin’s lab.
I also extended the OSC support. You can now map with your iPhone or your iPad via TouchOSC.
Have a look to this short video :
Millumin : OSC support … and opening the lab !

Hello there,
Here is a new update bringing OSC support : so you can control Millumin with another software, or via a device that supports this protocol !
By the way, I opened the Millumin’s lab. On this place, you’ll see tutorials, read documentations, and try experiments. Stay tuned ;)
To begin, I post 2 layouts for TouchOSC :
As usual, be free to send me feedback —-> contact@millumin.com

Very nice mixture between footwork, juke, dubstep and electronica.
Raoul Sinier - Guilty Cloaks
Cinematic music by this great illustrator.
Dark glitch-hop

Beatbox, no-beatbox, strange things.
Music mealting pot

What’s next for Millumin ?

Hello !
Wondering what’s coming next, but don’t dare to ask ?
Here is a smell :
- Warp layer
- Audio routing and level (per layer)
- MIDI out
- OSC and ArtNet support
- Cue points for the timeline
Of course, I got bugs to fix. Of course, the interface should be improved a lot.
Millumin is still young and I working hard on these things too !
So (I always say that) the best thing I need, is your feedback. If your brain mumbles something, please drop me an email —-> contact@millumin.com
Best,
Philippe
Millumin : MIDI support

Hello there,
These last two weeks, I didn’t post an update (big or small). But I’m coming back !
This new update brings :
- MIDI support
- better support for MPEG files
- small interface improvements
- bugfixes
Thanx for the feedback and all the ideas you provided so far. Now, it’s time for me to stand back, and figure out what I’ll work on during the next months …
I’m sure surprising things’ll pop out !
Best,
Philippe
Siri does not provide a service, it creates an emotional link between the user and the machine (like the color of an iPod).
reAnimed : my video blog about animation

Do you line animation ? I really do (when I’m not working on Millumin).
Over the past years, I’ve been digging animation short movies, and I decided to put the best ones on this video blog : reAnimed.anomes.com
I post 4 or 5 movies a week, so you won’t be overloaded.
Feel free to subscribe via one of these :

Millumin : multi-selection, copy & paste and more …

Hello there,
This week, I release a medium update. No big feature but many small ones :
- select multiple layers
- copy & paste (layer, timeline item, keyframes)
- keyboard shortbuts
- new blend modes (hue / saturation / color / luminosity
- keystone (multiscreen setup)
- a “pause” button
As usual, I fixed a few bugs. After releasing my next big feature, the MIDI support, I’ll start fix them all !
Do not hesitate to write me an email, to ask me anything : contact@millumin.com
Best,
Philippe
Millumin : blend mode and multi-screen

Hello there,
Here is a new update : blend modes like in Photoshop (multiply, screen, add, overlay, …) and multi-screen/soft-edge. I tested it on my Matrox TripleHead and it works well :)
Please let me know what you think of all this, so I could go further !
As usual, to update, just run Millumin and check for updates :)

Now, let’s finish the MIDI support !
Best,
Philippe
