Millumin : 64 bits optimized for Mountain Lion

Hello,
I’m very excited today as I’m releasing an important update : 64 bits support that I’ve been working on since summer 2012 !
And it brings great optimizations for Moutain Lion, especially with large movies (fps up to 3 times better). Example :
- On a MacMini (last generation with Intel HD 4000 and SSD)
- On OSX Mountain Lion 10.8
- With a global resolution of 6400 x 720
- Playing 4 movies (Photo-JPEG, 6400 x 720)
- This setup runs smoothly at 30 frames per seconds
Please, activate the 64 bits mode via the Preferences.
You can read all the details about usage and working here.
This 64 bits version is also working on Snow Leopard and Lion, but don’t feature any performance improvements.
By the way, this update contains a very recurrent request : to name the columns in the dashboard.
Have a nice day,
Philippe
